| Doonan is a few minutes drive inland from Noosa along the Noosa-Eumundi Road. A great place to stay if you want that country feel. Close to the Noosa Par-3 golf course (27 holes) and it's easy to get to Noosa, Eumundi and the motorway to Maroochydore. |

| Hastings Street is Noosa's main shopping and dining strip and runs alongside the main beach. It's packed with cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy anything from a hotdog to a 5-star meal. Holiday accommodation ranges from motel type units to large, luxurious apartments. |

| Noosa Heads is the main beach area of Noosa and includes Hastings Street and Noosa Junction's restaurant and shopping district. The Reef Hotel sits proudly atop the hill and Noosa Junction's shopping ranges from boutiques to supermarkets. |

| Noosa Sound is the canal area of Noosa and runs alongside the river from Hastings Street to Noosaville. Noosa Parade is the main street through Noosa Sound and has some very expensive houses as well as budget accommodation. |

| Noosaville is a large area with the main focus being on Gympie Terrace running alongside the river. There are many family holiday accommodation resorts and apartments and the restaurants of Gympie Terrace and Thomas Street rival those of Hastings Street. |

| Peregian Beach is at the southern end of Noosa Shire and still has that village feel about it. It has some excellent restaurants and cafés, a surf lifesaving club and a very good pub that is well supported by the locals. Peregian with its miles of quiet beaches is always worth a visit. |
